Day 22 Pinocchio

Ok so I just realized I've made it three weeks now!!!!! I'm on fire!!!!! So onto todays illustration....as you may know i've always been in love with fairytales. Today I chose Pinocchio as my inspiration. Several people told me it was a creepy version of Pinocchio but I thought it was adorable so maybe that makes me little creepy....hopefully not but anywho....

Day 20 gorgon

Today I was reading about the mytholigcal greek monsters Gorgons.....the most famous of them was Medusa who was killed by Perseus but Medusa had two older sisters Stheno and Euryale both of whom were immortal.....but poor medusa was mortal so she done got her head cut off....sad day....anyways this was the inspiration for todays sketch

Today my inspiration came from a friend of mine....he suggested something inspired by the  ballet folklorico....all the beautiful costumes are very inspiring....todays piece is an ink drawing mask of the nahual a shape shifter who transforms into a dragon.....

Ok so i'm going to have to come up with some ways to stir my creative juices......i'm in need of an adventure....today Jerbear fulled my creativity....he was in need of a princess to save and he asked me to make him one.....so I asked him what she should look like and he said she was to wear a dress "gold like a sword" and "blue beautiful hair" so I had to acquiesce to his request....

It's now been two weeks since I started this challenge and I'm still going strong!

Least favorite part of my day: coughing fit that makes my head hurt....favorite part of my day when Hannah stood up infront of everyone at church to ask for everyone to pray that Mr. Robbi gets better....so sweet.....

So todays illustration just popped up from who knows where......

Okay so I'm coming up quickly on the two week mark of my 365 day challenge and It hasn't been easy..... I've been sick with some sort of play for the past week and a half and this has made it quite difficult... But I did challenge myself because it would be easy so I'm not making any excuses....this is not something I take lightly.....also my cousin Chelsey gave me a great idea to add along with my work....so everyday along with my new piece I'm going to write my favorite part of the day and my least favorite part of my day.....it was inspiring to hear so I'm making it apart of my routine......so here we go

Least favorite part of my day: walking from my car into the movie theatre during the hottest time of the day .....that was easy

Favorite part of my day: when we pulled up to the theatre I jumped out of the car and Jeremiah lept from the car into my arms and yelled "I love you uncle bobba! Will you carry me forever?" Definatley the best

Bonjour everyone! I'm definatley feeling better and I am excited to get back to the  real world...sort of......my new piece is disney themed....adobe illustrator is one of my favorite programs and I've been using it for years now.....I started with a hand drawn picture then I colored it in illustrator.....

Day nine Frozen Heart

Today i feel a little better....enough to get up and had a disney movie marathon with my boys, Frozen was first on the line up and so todays illustration come from Frozen....only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart....gets me everytime

Day Five PLANET OF THE APES

Today I saw the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes I really liked the film (even though it was 2 hours long) but i was a good mix of action, effects and story...going in I didn't think I would enjoy it but I was pleasantly suprised.do in honor of the film todays illustration is Themed....

For awhile now I've been trying to decide how to make my mark. So I've decided that I will for one year make an illustration for everyday. This is quite a daunghting task but it is something I'm going to try....failure is inevitable but not something I'm scared of so here it goes
