Today's illustration is Bee Careful. Bees just might be the most interesting insect on the planet.fun facts about bees. Bees have five eyes,two compound eyes and three tiny ocelli eyes.A honeybee can fly 24 km in an hour at a speed of 15 mph. Its wings beat 200 times per second or 12,000 beats per minute they have 2 pairs of wings. The wings have tiny teeth that lock together when the bee is flying.they carry pollen in tiny pockets on their hind legs called pollen baskets.so many interesting things to think about.

Today's illustration is Space Cadet Kimmie. In the year 2323 Kimmie is living in ehat used to be Des Moines Iowa but is now part of the larger Northern Merica. She wirks part time as a seamstress but her regular work is on the Cadet Team 27 . Team 27 is in charge of patroling the under ground tunnels left by years of Fracking. The special helmet she wears helps breathe.

Day 248 the last unicorn

I recently discovered that there is a live action film adaptation of the Last Unicorn is in the works. This film has been one of my favorites for a long time so this is really exciting news. Today's illustration is The Lady Amalthea. When confronted by the red bull the unicorn fearfully flees but unable to escape Schmendrick the magician transfomers the unicorn into a human girl. When they arrive at the castle she is called Lady Amalthea. In her human form she is able to investigate the castle to find the other unicorns, but she must hurry for if she stays human for too long she could be lost forever.

Today i went to see Cinderella and it was amazing. So today's illustration is when the clock strikes twelve. By the last echo of the last ring of the last bell off midnight the spell will be broken and all will return to as it was before.

10 years ago my great grandmother (nanny) passed away. Today in honor of what would have been her 100th birthday   I present today's illustration, every time we said goodbye she would wisper in my ear "I love you, a bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck." I still miss her so much. Nanny I love you.
